"oh, cathy! oh, my life! how can i bear it?"
sketchy sketch time!
at the moment i am reading emily bronte's wuthering heights for the second time and i just love this scene with heathcliff & catherine the night before she dies. it's so mad and dramatic! maybe i'll draw more of it sometime. but for now, here's a sketch of mad catherine:
"what now? you and edgar have broken my heart, heathcliff!
and you both came to bewail the deed to me, as if you were
the people to be pitied! i shall not pity you, not i.
you have killed me - and thriven on it, i think.
how strong you are! how many years do you mean to live
after i am gone?"
